Smart Surfing

Today I worked on Smart Surfing.

I learnt that there is more to Google than we think.

I found it hard to finish my slides in a small amount of time.

I found it easy to use "Explore".

Next time I need to produce better work by staying on task.

Seeking Help

We were learning about seeking help when things go wrong online. Today I learnt how to deal with a cyber bully.
I found it easy to create the google drawing.
I found it hard to work in a limited time.
I really enjoyed learning about what to do if you ever come across a cyber bully.
Next time I need to be more creative with how I do my work.

Netiquette

We were learning about Netiquette. I learnt that
I found it easy to write the Do's Dont's in the speech bubbles.
I found it hard to work in a very small time frame.
I really enjoyed trying to find a background.
Next time I need to spend more time on my character so it can be better.

Pluto- Science Research

This is a slideshow about Pluto and facts about it. What I learnt from researching about Pluto was that Pluto wasn't the only planet that was classified not a planet there were much more like... Ceres, Makemake, Haumea and Eris. Something that I found challenging was that it was hard to find very specific details about Pluto and how I can transfer them into my own words. Next time something I can do better is that I can add a bit more information so that the slides can make sense. I enjoyed learning more about Pluto because it made me understand why it's not classified as a planet and why other planets are.

My Profile

Hi my name is Perez. I am from Whangara Gisborne. The tribes I am from are Tuhoe, Ngati Konohi and Rongowhakaata. My favourite sports are football, gymnastics and sometimes touch rugby. In my family I have my brother, my dad, my mum and me. The school that I go to is called Te Hapara School.

I think I am a focused learner at my school because I am good at maths and reading. I enjoy reading because I can do tasks that I enjoy working with. My challenges are in maths sometimes because we work with decimal numbers. My goal for this year is to get better at writing and make sure I all my punctuation is right and I have the right things in the right place.

Something I am looking forward to this year is… the school camp for this year. I am also looking forward to hopefully going to Australia near the end of the year. Somebody who inspires me is Parris Goebel because she is a strong and independent woman who doesn’t listen to what others say.
